At MI Metals, we are dedicated to investing in the future of our workforce.

We offer Apprenticeship Programs at both our Florida and Tennessee facilities. Participants can gain hands-on experience while building a rewarding career in the aluminum extrusion industry. Our apprenticeship program provides individuals with the unique opportunity to gain real-world experience in the aluminum extrusion industry.

Maintenance Technicians

Our first apprenticeship program focuses on training Maintenance Technicians, where we combine on-the-job training with academic learning. Approved participants receive:

  • Paid tuition for a Mechatronic program at a local institution
  • 20 hours of classroom/study time and 20 hours of on-the-job training weekly with full time pay for 40 hours
